In my youth, my mother would take me thrift shopping on the weekends and I fell in love with the hunt and variety of it all. It became a ritual for me and the savings were half bad either. Years later, I began to notice that people would compliment me daily on what I was wearing or the handbag I was carrying and ask where I got them. They just couldn't believe how much I paid and the fact that it was all second hand...pre-loved is what we call it! At times, I was asked to sell them items I was actually wearing that day! I had a serious "light bulb" moment and Thrift Rich was born!
